Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assistance in faculty administrative support on daily basis including handling financial requests, research assistant hiring, research fund and project application, policy interpretation, liaison with university departments and etc.
2. Assistance in the organization and execution of academic events such as onsite/online academic seminars, workshops and etc.
3. Assistance in school faculty recruitment by the coordination of online/overseas interviews, the arrangement of online/on-campus job talks, liaison with faculty and area recruiting committee as recruitment secretary and etc.
4. Assistance in information collection and maintenance for school as well as pandemic prevention and control related tasks.
5. To undertake other assignments by supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. Bachelor degree or above, preferably with Master degree;
2. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
3. Relevant working experience gained preferably in higher education institutions;
4. Strong communication, organization, coordination and interpersonal skills;
5. Customer-oriented attitude and able to deliver quick and quality responses;
6. Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team;
7. Patient, responsible and cheerful, show initiative and take full responsibility for the completion of tasks with the ability to work under pressure.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with personal qualifications and experience. Appoin tments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
