English Teaching Positions at
Introduction:
Qualifications:
v Instructors: Candidates for instructor positions should have an MA degree in TEFL or a related subject area; preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience.
v Lecturers: Candidates for lecturer positions should have an MA degree in TEFL or a related subject area, and three or more years’ full time post-degree teaching experience. Preference is given to candidates who have experience in curriculum development, materials development, teacher training, and/or leading teaching teams.
v Associate Professors: Candidates for associate professor positions should have a doctorate in TEFL or a related subject area, and also relevant teaching experience. Preference is given to candidates who have experience in research and/or publication, and are able to assist other faculty with research projects.
For all positions, preference will be given to candidates who have experience learning foreign languages and/or living in foreign cultures.
Salary and Benefits: All positions provide competitive salaries, determined according to the appointee's qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, vacation allowances, and Chinese holidays.
