Liu Qian was born in Taiwan on June 25th, 1976. At the 2009 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, he put on two magic shows successfully. It made him the hottest magician in China.
When he was 7 years old, he was deeply attracted by a coin trick in a shop. Later on, the shop assistant began to teach him some easy magic tricks. Liu didn’t go to any magic schools. He learned by himself and practiced hard.
At the age of 12, he won Taiwan’s Youth Magic Contest, which was judged by the great American Magician, David Copperfield. Over 100 children took part in the contest. Without expensive equipment, he didn’t expect any award. But he succeeded. His hard work led to success.
